Leonard Torrens "LT" Little's Obituary
Leonard Torrens "LT" Little, age 75, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Leonard was born on April 22, 1935 in Coulterville, IL, a son to Leonard W. and Velma (Torrens) Little. On July 8, 1954, he married Yvonne Cantrell in Corinth, MS and she survives. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in North Africa and was a member of Coulterville V.F.W. Post 6865. Leonard operated a tree trimming business and he and his wife operated LT's Tavern in Coulterville for many years. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Monica (Jay) Shubert of Nashville, IL; four grandchildren, Gabe Shubert, Jacob (K.C.) Shubert, Ethan Shubert all of Nashville, IL and Rachel (Mike) Grunloh of Coulterville, IL; three great-grandchildren, Restin Shubert, Kaylee Shubert and Jacksun Shubert; grand-daughter-in-law, Leah Shubert of Coulterville, IL; five brothers, David (Eileen) Little of Marissa, IL, Bill (Ruth) Little of Sparta, IL, Gerald (Rosalie) Little of Cutler, IL, Merle Little of Tilden, IL and Rodney (Brenda) Little of Sparta, IL; three sisters, Leota Styles of Omaha, NE, Martha (Jeff) Rogers of Collinsville, IL and Margaret Lloyd of Marissa, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Heath Shubert; three sisters, Nina Belle Hindman, Velva Birkenmier and Roberta Harris; and one brother, Marvin Little. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
