Lela Mae Goetz's Obituary
Lela Mae Goetz, age 83, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:40 p.m. in Coulterville Rehabilitation Center, Coulterville, IL. Lela was born on June 7, 1931 in Ava, IL, a daughter to Curtis and Irene (Lively) Crawford. On November 2, 1948, she married Frank Albert Goetz in Piggott, AR and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2010. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Ava, Illinois and enjoyed listening to music, singing and dancing, BINGO, word searches and loved caring for her family. Lela is survived by a son, Jerry (Betty Lou) Goetz of Sparta, IL; one daughter, Shirley (Darrell) Schweizer of Coulterville, IL; two grandchildren, Darwin (Chawn) Jausel and Carman Jausel; three great-grandchildren, Cale, Grant, and Asher Jausel; one sister, Mary Light; and one brother, Don Crawford. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Vincent Jausel; sister-in-law, Jaunita Crawford and brother-in-law, Leroy Light. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Illinois on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend David Guthrie officiating. Interment will follow in Creek Paum Cemetery, Vergennes, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, and again on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
