Laurina M. Caupert, age 82, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of rural Cutler, IL passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in Alexian Brothers Sherbrooke Village, St. Louis, MO. Laurina was born on July 15, 1925 in Perry County, Illinois, a daughter to Henry C. and Lydia (Lampe) Caupert. She worked as an office clerk at Famous & Barr in St. Louis, MO for 19 years. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, St. Louis, MO where she was a member of the church choir and women's guild. Laurina was formerly a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lost Prairie, Pinckneyville, IL Survivors include her sister: Iona Caupert of St. Louis, MO, and step-sister: Anette Kuehner of St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, 10-day old brother: Harold Caupert in 1923, one infant sister, step-mother: Ester Zimmerman Caupert, and step-brother: Melvin Zimmerman. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Harvey Groth officiating. Interment will be in Lost Prairie Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hope Lutheran Church, St. Louis, MO or Lost Prairie Cemetery Association, Pinckneyville, IL.
