Larry Edward "Hack" Hackleman, Sr's Obituary
Larry Edward Hackleman, Sr. age 68, of Royalton, IL, formerly of DuQuoin, IL passed away on Tuesday, May 05, 2009 at 9:27 a.m. in Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion, IL. Larry was born on September 21, 1940 in DuQuoin, Illinois a son to William and Alice (McElroy) Hackleman. Before his retirement he worked at DuQuoin Packing Company and Turco. He enjoyed rockabilly music and played in the band Rocking Rebel's and appeared in the Lucky Leroy Show. Larry will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his children: Carrie (Bart) Griffin of Royalton, IL, Larry Hackleman, Jr. of West Frankfort, Betty Hackleman of Benton, IL, Lori (Fred) Hall of Royalton, IL and Kay (fiance: Todd Robey) Hackleman of Christopher, IL, three sisters: Betty Walters, Marion Blight and Shirley Bunton, thirteen grandchildren, four great- grandchildren and many dear nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Billy, Bobby and Jack and one sister: Rosetta Anheuser Memorial services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
