Larry W. Cook's Obituary
Larry W. Cook, age 62, formerly of Oakdale, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in Helia Healthcare Center of Carbondale. Larry was born on March 9, 1944 in DuQuoin, IL, a son to Clem Roy and Margaret (Voit) Cook. He enjoyed fishing, bicycle riding, and his dogs. Survivors include a brother: Bill Cook and his wife Virginia of Houston, TX, three sisters: Lucretia Moore and her husband Ronald of Oakdale, IL, Jacque Lusby and her husband David of Granite City, IL, and Barbara Chandler and her husband Ronald of Granite City, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son: Larry W. Cook, Jr., two brothers: Harold Cook and Roy Edward Cook, and two sisters: Juanita Marie Cook and Sandra Baldwin. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Oakdale at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2007. Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Oakdale on Monday from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Southern Illinois Regional Services of Carbondale, IL.
