I did not know Larry personally, but my Mom & Dad (Helen & Jake Lunnemann) were long-time family friends of the Bender's. They thought a lot of your family and always spoke highly of all of you. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Our sincere condolences to Elda and all the family. Larry was a SUPER neighbor and will be greatly missed. He was the first to greet us and offer his help when we were moving in. He was a wealth of information regarding Perry County, ponds, and wildlife. We regret only having had the opportunity to know him for three short years.
May he rest in peace knowing we will be there to feed the geese.
