Konnie Kay Craft's Obituary
Konnie Craft, age 80, of Chesterfield, MO, formerly of Auburn, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at 6:43 p.m. in Delmar Gardens on the Green Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chesterfield, MO.
Konnie was born on January 10, 1940, in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Orvel D. and Edna E. (Tanner) Hill. Konnie was self-employed and had worked as a homemaker, caretaker for the elderly and dictation transcriptionist. She enjoyed cats, NASCAR, Illinois high school basketball championships, and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her son, Douglas (Debbie) Craft of Ballwin, MO, and her daughter, Sherrie (Steve) Miller of Naples, FL; five cousins including Gwen Combs of Mississippi and Jane (Tanner) Kruse of Steeleville, IL; Allen (Alice) Tanner of Chicago, IL; Sharon Jones and Pat Brazelton of Oakwood, IL; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three uncles, five aunts, five cousins, and her former husband, Roscoe Craft.
Graveside services will be held at Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL, on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Perry County Humane Society.
