Kipp Douglas Rule's Obituary
Kipp Douglas Rule, 52, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away on March 16, 2023 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR. Kipp was born in Carbondale, IL on December 21, 1970 to Nelson and Sharon Rule of Pinckneyville, IL.
Kipp is survived by his parents, Nelson and Sharon Rule; two sons, Sean and Grayson Rule of Frederick, MD; two daughters, Jaimilyn (Kyle) Marlow of Coulterville, IL and Faleshia Quillman of Sparta, IL; one sister, Nicole (Mike) McKinley of Washington, IL; one brother, Garrison Rule of Wilmington, NC; four grandchildren; and two nieces.
Kipp grew up in Pinckneyville and entered the United States Navy upon graduating high school. He proudly served his country for 11 years as a Machinist Mate Petty Officer 1st Class. His training in the Navy provided him the skills to continue in the Federal Sector as a Firefighter/EMT at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, where he enjoyed cooking for his brothers in the firehouse. He spent countless hours volunteering as the Assistant Chief of Carroll Manor Fire Company in Adamstown, MD. He was a handyman, always repairing and building for anyone who needed help. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and listening to the sounds of nature. Kipp was always a country boy at heart. He was loved by so many and will be dearly missed by friends and family.
A private funeral service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL and interment will be at Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
A celebration of life will be held at the Knights of Columbus (Columbian Club), Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to The Gary Sinise Foundation or Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504, Pinckneyville, IL.
