Kimberly K. (Wine) Scaggs' Obituary
Kimberly K. (Wine) Scaggs, age 68, of Coulterville, IL passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 5:48 p.m., in St. Elizabeth Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.
Kimberly was born on August 29, 1957, in Red Bud, IL, a daughter to Eugene “Gene” and Blanch I. “Sam” (Marlow) Wine. She worked at Spartan Light Metals, Sparta, IL, as an auditor for over 38 years. Kimberly was a member of the local card and shuffle board club. She enjoyed bowling, gambling, all sports and The Wizard of Oz. For 19 years Kimberly also enjoyed traveling to Tunica, MS, with friends to gamble. She loved music, especially The Beatles. She was an avid Cubs fan. Kim loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her one daughter, Jennifer Murry-Knope of Marissa, IL; one son, Justin Lee Murry of Coulterville, IL; one brother, Scott (Marilyn) Wine Coulterville, IL; one sister, Sherri (Steve) Horner of Coulterville, IL; one grandchild, Blaine Knope of Coulterville, IL; five nieces and nephews, Katy (James Roddy) Wine of O’Fallon, IL, Cale (Chelsey) Wine of Steelville, IL, Kara (Gerry Domochowski) Wine of Maryville, IL, Rob (Jenny) Horner of Highland, IL, and Jeanine (Dustin) Hess of Dunlop, IL; and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Christine Lippert officiating. A private family interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery, Coulterville, IL.
A memorial visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
