Kevin M. Hiller's Obituary
Kevin Michael Hiller, age 41, of Pinckneyville, IL passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 10:27 p.m. in Pinckneyville, IL.
Kevin was born October 7, 1964 in Springfield, IL the son of Samuel D. and Cecile (Yoggerst) Hiller. Kevin was a graduate of Pinckneyville Community High School where he was active in sports and theater. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from SIU in 1987. He worked as a professional actor for MGM Studios in Disney World for five years, and was involved in numerous theater groups in Southern Illinois and managed a theater group that performed for children in the region. He was a counselor at Camp Ondessonk, member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, an officer of the Moose Lodge in Pinckneyville, IL, and loved to read and sing. Kevin was employed at Gilster Mary Lee Corp. Kevin is survived by his mother, Cecile Moore and her husband Tony of Cascade, MO, father, Samuel D. Hiller and his wife Carolyn of Tamaroa, IL, grandmother, Wilma Yoggerst, two brothers, Shawn Hiller and wife Jo of Pinckneyville, IL, Darren Hiller and wife Florentina of Vicenza, Italy, three sisters, Colleen Lacy and husband Olin of Long Beach, MS, Maureen Barbacovi and husband Peter of Mundelein, IL, Bridget Shopinski and husband Charles of Ashley, IL, two step-sisters, Stephanie Dent of Bonnie, IL, Natalie Lynch of DuBois, IL, five step-brothers, Martin Skorch of Scheller, IL, Phill Moore of Witt, IL, Glenn and Wade Moore of Coffeen, IL, Kenny Moore of Hillsboro, IL, an uncle locally, John Sheley and wife Pat of Pinckneyville, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday morning, June 19, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville, IL with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in the St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery in Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville, IL Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and on Monday morning from 8:00 a.m. till 9:30 a.m. The Rosary will be recited Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the PCHS Musicmakers or St. Bruno Youth Ministry.
