Kenneth Wild's Obituary
Kenneth Wild, age 84, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in his home. Kenneth was born on July 28, 1931 in Mount Vernon, IL, a son to Frederick H. "Fred" and Elsie (Monika) Wild. On September 18, 1954, he married Bernita Engelhardt in Pinckneyville, IL and she survives. He farmed and had worked at Decca Records and later retired as a coal miner at Consol Burning Star #4. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL, U.M.W.A. and was actively involved with the Lions Club, Pinckneyville, IL where he served as Past President and Treasurer and worked the Pancake Breakfast. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, barbequing, and antique car restoration and loved his grandkids and great-grandkids. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Bernita Wild of Pinckneyville, IL; his son, Larry (Lisa) Wild of Pinckneyville, IL; three daughters, Linda (Ross) Eisenhauer of Pinckneyville, IL, Vickie (Jeff) Tanner of Pinckneyville, IL and Donna (Dan) Grammatico of Ashville, NC; his brother, Fred G. Wild of Sarasota, FL; seven grandchildren, Bryan Eisenhauer (fiancé, Alexandra Harrison) of Pinckneyville, IL, Dustin Eisenhauer (fiancé, Kristy Clark) of Pinckneyville, IL, Tyson Tanner of DuQuoin, IL, Peyton (Jon) Gregory of DuQuoin, IL, Morgan Wild of Pinckneyville, IL, Ashley Wild of Pinckneyville, IL and Brooke (Brian) Geiger of Dallas, TX; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Nola Gregory. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Betty Ann and Roy Welch. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Cindy Bean officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Lions Club, Pinckneyville, IL or St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of arrangements.
