Kathleen "Tootie" Kelley's Obituary
Kathleen D. "Tootie" Kelley, age 96, of DuQuoin, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 9:55 a.m. in DuQuoin Nursing and Rehab, DuQuoin, IL. Tootie was born on November 5, 1920 in DuQuoin, IL, a daughter to Frank and Mary (Kezerle) Kezely. On March 5, 1946, she married William "Bill" Kelley in DuQuoin, IL and he preceded her in death on January 29, 2008. Tootie was always a hard worker and held several jobs over the years, including working as a telephone operator in the 1940's and in later years she worked at Mallory. She attended Liberty Baptist Church, DuQuoin, IL, enjoyed playing on her women's bowling league, sewing, talking on the phone and in recent years watching T.V. and relaxing.
Survivors include her son, Frank Kelley of Kissimmee, FL; a son-in-law, Wayne Foutch of DuQuoin, IL; three grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer) Foutch, Anthony Foutch and Carrie (Geoff) Kufta; and two great-grandchildren, Adrian Foutch and Erin Foutch. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Mary Lou Foutch; a daughter-in-law, Delena Kelley; four brothers, Alphonso Kezely, Frank Kezely Jr., Edward Kezely and Robert Kezely; and four sisters, Matilda Kezely, Josephine Tonazzi, Agnes Schneider and Christine Youngman. Kathleen wishes were to be cremated with no services. Pyatt Funeral Home in DuQuoin, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
