June Huelsmann's Obituary
June Huelsmann, age 92, of DuQuoin, IL, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 6:45 p.m. in Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation, DuQuoin, IL.
June was born on June 20, 1928 in North Branford, CT, a daughter to Earl and Hazel (Norris) Hahn. On September 13, 1947, she married Bernard Anthony Huelsmann in Walnut Ridge, AR, and he preceded her in death on August 5, 2012. June ran a shoe store and worked as a factory worker and later was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, DuQuoin, IL. When she was young, she loved to babysit. June enjoyed reading, and playing cards with friends.
Survivors include her two sons, Steven (Sharon) Huelsmann of Pinckneyville, IL and Ray (Tonda) Huelsmann of Marion, IL; three grandchildren, LeeAnn Williams of Pinckneyville, IL, Kaci Rice of St. Louis, MO and Chad Huelsmann of Murphysboro, IL; one step grandchild, Hillary (Justin) Wing of Marion, IL; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Darrel Hahn of West Campton, NH and three special nieces, Wanda Thorpe, Sandy Wickham and Patty Maynor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Emiline Kern and Margie Hunter; one brother, Gene Hahn and one brother in infancy, Millard Hahn.
Graveside services will be held at Parrish Cemetery, Vergennes, IL on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
A graveside visitation will be held at Parrish Cemetery, Vergennes, IL on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus, phase four attendance will be limited and social distancing will be enforced. All Attendees are asked to wear a mask.
