Julius J. Peradotta's Obituary
Julius J. Peradotta, age 83, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 6:41 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL. Julius was born on July 7, 1925 in Perry County, IL, a son to Peter Anthony and Maryann M. (Cuccatti) Peradotto. He was a veteran of the United States Army drafted into the Korean War on September 22, 1950 and honorably discharged on September 11, 1952. He was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, had retired as a conductor for Illinois Central Railroad after 41 years of service and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Survivors include three brothers: John (Karen) Peradotto, Richard (Ladonna) Peradotto, and Carl (Virginia) Peradotta, all of Pinckneyville, IL, two sisters: Marjorie Peradotto of Marissa, IL, and Doris (Clinton) Ing of Pittsburg, IL, and many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: George Peradotto, and a sister: Lucille Stern. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Father James Van Noss officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno Catholic Church or donor's choice.
