Josephine Margaret Williams' Obituary
Josephine Margaret Williams, age 81, of DuQuoin, IL, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 4:39 p.m. in her home. Josephine was born on March 31, 1925 in Long Branch, NJ, a daughter to Earl and Catherine (Schick) Hathaway. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Assembly of God, DuQuoin. She loved her church, and enjoyed her church family, crocheting, crafts, and shopping. Survivors include three sons: Edwin and Evelyn Blossey of Essexville, MI, Earl and Maryann Blossey of Pinconning, MI, and George and Debby Blossey of Austin, TX, one daughter: Betty Bland of Cobden, IL, one sister: Barbara Lagrotteria of West Chester, PA, nine grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two nieces, and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, DuQuoin with Reverend Keith Filer officiating. Interment will be in Old DuQuoin Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, DuQuoin from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. and then on Friday from 8:00 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Faith Assembly of God, DuQuoin.
