Johnnie Mack Brown, age 69, of DuQuoin, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 3:59 p.m., in Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion, IL.
Johnnie was born on April 11, 1955 in DuQuoin, IL, a son to Robert Brown and Marion Ellen Smith. Johnnie was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and eating fish.
Survivors include two brothers, Gerald B. (Wilma) Brown and Charles E. Brown; four sisters, Mary C. Clark, Alvenia Peters, Selevia Myers, and Terry L. (Larry E.) Dunklin; one sister-in-law, Kathy Brown; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Johnnie; three brothers, Leonard Brown, Ronald L. Brown, and Norbert Dean Brown; three sisters, Ruth L. Robinson, Rose M. Newcomb, and Reda L. Smith; and sister-in-law, Jodi Brown.
Johnnie's wishes were to be cremated.
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
