DEAR ED AND CARLA,

My heart goes out to you Dorothy, Eddie Joe, Donnie, and Betty. We know that Johnny will be sorely missed and I extend my deepest sympathy for your great loss. He is a great loss to me as well. I valued him as a great friend and neighbor even though I have been gone from the neighborhood since 1956. I often stopped and visited with him and Dorothy when I was in the Pinckneyville area. I always enjoyed the great conversations about old times as neighbors and his and Dorothy's friendship and fellowship with my Dad (Auris) and Mom (Mary). Again, for me and for all of you I am sad for this great loss.
