John Alan Perry's Obituary
John Alan Perry, age 82, of Maryland Heights, MO, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in NHC Healthcare, Maryland Heights, MO.
John was born on November 28, 1942, in Negaunee, MI, a son to William H. and Irene (Hakala) Perry, Sr. John was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pinckneyville, IL. He owned and operated Contempri Homes for 40 years. He was a member of the Optimist Club and former member of the Jaycee’s. John enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his children, Brad Perry (Jeanie Coleman) of New Baden, IL, Timothy (Crystal) Perry of Firestone, CO, and Elisabeth Perry of O’Fallon, MO; one brother, Edwin Perry of Lansing, MI, four sisters, Nancy (Dick) Wiitala of Marquette, MI, Gladys Collison of Lansing, MI, Joyce Perry of Ellisville, MO, and Karen (Tom) Adams of Midland, MI; three grandchildren, Danielle Lamb, Taylor Perry, and Adalyn Perry; and one great-grandson, Emmitt Lamb.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Perry and Garry Perry; and one sister, Elisabeth Perry.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
