John P. Bouchard, Jr.'s Obituary
John P. "Johnny" Bouchard Jr., age 19, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 9:12 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL.
Johnny was born on April 24, 2001 in Carbondale, IL, a son to John P. and Carla J. (Ausmus) Bouchard Sr. John graduated from Pinckneyville Community High School in 2020. He worked for Lawless Seamless Guttering as a general contractor and loved his job. Johnny embraced his country life. He loved mudding, his diesels and his Harley Davison motorcycle. He especially loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his grandparents, Jim A. Bouchard and Bessie M. Bouchard of Marienville, PA; parents, John and Carla (Ausmus) Bouchard Sr. of Pinckneyville, IL; two sisters, Courtenay (Matt) Ellis of Blue Springs, MO, and Mary Stroehelein of Killeen, TX; one brother, James Bouchard of San Jose, CA; two nephews, Camdon Ellis and Mason Ellis; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Johnny was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Ausmus.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marty DeRoche officiating. Interment will be in Galum Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. The funeral home requests that all attendees wear a mask.
Visitation will be at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL, on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral home requests that all attendees wear a mask.
Memorial donations may be made to the First National Bank, for Team Tank John Bouchard Benefit fund for Pinckneyville Community High School Scholarship for Welding Students.
Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus and by the signing of executive order by Governor J.B. Pritzker, Phase Four attendance will be limited to 50 people and social distancing will be enforced.
