Joe Baudison's Obituary
Joe Baudison, age 87, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 1:50 p.m. in Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehabilitation, Pinckneyville, IL.
Joe was born on July 20, 1933 in Pinckneyville, IL, a son to Clem and Anna Margaret (Kellerman) Baudison. On October 25, 1961, he married Irene Prusacki at St. Charles Catholic Church, DuBois, IL and she preceded him in death on August 19, 2000. Joe had worked as a farmer all of his life. When he began farming, he used horse-drawn equipment and when he retired, he was driving 4-wheel drive tractors. Together with his brother, Joe owned the Baudison Brothers Sawmill. He had also worked as a truck driver for Chicago Southern Trucking. Joe was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Church, Todds Mills, IL, the Knights of Columbus, Italian Club Lodge #8 of the Columbian Federation. He enjoyed playing bingo, drinking Stag beer and going to auctions.
Survivors include his children, Marlene (Doug) Kellerman of Pinckneyville, IL and Raymond (Dee Dee) Baudison of Pinckneyvillle, IL; three grandchildren, William (Chelsey) Kellerman, Michelle Kellerman and Bradley Baudison, all of Pinckneyville, IL; one brother, James (Pat) Baudison of Pinckneyville, IL; two sisters, Rosemary (Mick) Rankin of Mt. Vernon, IL and Sister Clara Baudison of Canton, OH; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irene Baudison; and a brother, Leo Baudison.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, IL on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. with Father Augustine Ibezimako officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Covid resurgence restrictions will be adhered to, attendance will be limited and social distancing will be enforced. All attendees are asked to wear a mask.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery.
