I always believe people come into your life for a reason and I met Jesse just months before his passing. I was able to visit with him twice but felt as if I'd known him for years. He shared with me his story and interests, such as his drawings and writings. He was kind - may peace be with him.
We loved his visits to our shop he made a trip right before he passed to my shop to give me a Johnston City milk bottle he was always thinking of others and we will miss him.......I can hear him now you got any good deals
To his nieces and nephews, I am truly sorry about Jesse, I enjoyed talking to him about his great hobby of antiques, remember he is in a better place with his God, I am glad I got to visit with the niece in nursing home and had prayer with you, God Bless.
Jesse was such a sweet man, and will be greatly missed by Rozanne, Marci, Linda and Dylan from The White Rabbit. We love you, Jesse.
Jesse was a classmate at Christopher High School until he joined the Army. I re-discovered him when I stopped by his antique shop. He well remembered me and events from high school days.He told me about working on a mink ranch and about how much he enjoyed his hunt for antiques and collectibles. Anytime I passed by his shop, I'd stop and we'd visit. I bought several pieces from him over the years & think of Jesse every time I walk past my china cabinet. He was truly one of a kind.
