Jerry A. Kiss' Obituary
Jerry A. Kiss, age 66, of Willisville, IL, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 12:42 p.m., at his home.
Jerry was born on December 9, 1955 in Pinckneyville, IL. He was a son to Joe and Waneta (Irwin) Kiss. Jerry attended the First Pentecostal Church, Pinckneyville, IL with his mother. He was a pipefitter with the Plumbers and Pipefitters National Union. Jerry was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge, Pinckneyville, IL. He enjoyed reading, camping, golf, watching sports on the television and was a long-time Chicago Cubs fan, betting on horseracing, especially the Kentucky Derby, and attending and collecting memorabilia from classic rock concerts, especially the Rolling Stones.
Survivors include his uncle, Robert Irwin of Nashville, IL, several cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, Joe Kiss and Waneta Irwin Kiss; and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., with Reverend Doug Rice officiating. Interment will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
A memorial visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
