Jenea Dawn Clark's Obituary
Jenea Dawn Clark, age 37, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 7:33 a.m. in her home surrounded her by loving family.
Jenea was born on October 22, 1976 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Jeff and Patsy (Bass) Shute. On June 29, 2012, she married Douglas Clark in Old DuQuoin Baptist Church, DuQuoin, IL and he survives. Jenea was a member of Old DuQuoin Baptist Church, DuQuoin, IL and worked as a dental hygienist for Beard and Holmen LTD in Waterloo, IL for 16 years. She enjoyed dancing, singing, fishing and attending her kids sporting events. Jenea loved her children and husband very much.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Clark; two sons, Barrett and Bradley Denny all of Pinckneyville, IL; step-son, Howard Clark; step-daughters, Kimberly Nicole Clark and Brittany Clark all of DuQuoin, IL; parents, Jeff and Patsy Shute, brother, Greg (Megan) Shute; sister, Julie Shute; maternal grandparents, Kenneth "Gig" and Ruth Shute all of Pinckneyville, IL; father-law and mother-in-law, Ted and Peg Clark; of DuQuoin, IL; nieces and nephews, Bryant Shute, Colton Kling, Katelyn Kling and Caden Shute all of Pinckneyville, IL; numerous aunts; uncles; cousin and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Benton Bass and Zella Bass -Boyd and paternal grandmother, Juanita Shute.
Funeral services will be held at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Ted Clark officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Friends may call at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Barrett Denny and Bradley Denny College Fund or donor's choice.
