Jeffrey Allen Scholebo's Obituary
Jeffrey Allen Scholebo, age 59, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 2:25 p.m., in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL.
Jeff was born on April 18, 1965 in Perry County, IL, a son to David "Dave" and Roberta (Mathis) Scholebo, Jr. On June 25, 1983 he married Patricia Place at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Pinckneyville, IL. Jeff was a mechanic supervisor for many years at NOTS in Nashville, IL. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Pinckneyville, IL and First Baptist Church in Tamaroa, IL. Jeff loved cooking, especially BBQing in the smoker, listening to music, fixing up and working on cars, and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia Scholebo of Pinckneyville, IL; two sons, Jeffrey (Sherry) Scholebo of Pinckneyville, IL and Brandon (Michaela) Scholebo of Tamaroa, IL; one daughter, Andrea (fiancé Daniel) Scholebo of Pinckneyville, IL; one brother, Mark Scholebo of Pinckneyville, IL; one sister-in-law, Laura Smith of Richview, IL; ten grandchildren, Chase Scholebo, Colyn Scholebo, Braylee Scholebo, Jaxon Scholebo, Jace Scholebo, Emma Craig, Bella Craig, Danny Craig, Nick Scholebo, and Orion Scholebo; two great-grandchildren, Allen Scholebo and Jasper Scholebo; and two great dogs, Baby Bear and Penelope.
He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Mary Jankowski; three brothers, David Scholebo, Gary Scholebo, and Terry Scholebo; and one son, Brian Scholebo.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., with Brother Raymond Baggott officiating. Interment will be at Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
