Jeanette (Hines) Williams' Obituary
Jeanette (Hines) Williams, age 68, of Pinckneyville, IL, formerly of Mount Vernon, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 4:19 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL. Jeanette was born on July 4, 1946 in Benton, IL, a daughter to Reverend Doy and Ollie (Knowlton) Hines. On February 29, 1988, she married James F. Williams in Paris, TN and he survives. She was a hairstylist for 40 years and enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved keeping in touch and talking with her family and especially loved playing with her grandkids. Jeanette was a very giving person, even in death, as she gave the gift of life to others as an organ donor. Survivors include her husband, James F. Williams of Pinckneyville, IL; two daughters, Melanie Kohut of Decatur, IL and Audra (Lee) Bravard of Decatur, IL; a brother, Leon Hines of Arizona; and nine grandchildren including, Sabin Kohut, Ava Bravard, Eli Bravard. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Byford Hines and Ronald Hines; and a sister, Janice Jackson. A memorial service will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in the Chapel, Woodlawn, IL on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ron Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens, Woodlawn, IL. Friends may call at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in the Chapel, Woodlawn, IL on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Williams Family. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of the local arrangements. Hughey Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, IL is in charge of the Celebration of Life Service.
