Our belated but heartfelt condolences to you, Pippa. Jan was beautiful and talented, and a good friend we remember fondly, especially when we look at photos of the family trip we all took to Maui in 1985.

Jan was a good neighbor and friend. I remember seeing her on a ladder cleaning her gutters and telling my husband to get over there and help that lady, she shouldn't be doing that at her age. I soon got to know Jan and had to eat my words. Not only did she not need help, she didn't want it. At twice my age, she ran circles around me. She was always concerned with our family and we enjoyed her friendship. I'm glad we recently moved out of the neighborhood so I won't have to look over at her house without her there. We will miss her.

Pippa, Stephanie, Winter family, I send my sincere sympathies and love to your family. Janet was my friend in our teenage years in 4-H and PCHS activities. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding in 1957. I am so sorry for your loss. May God comfort you during these days.
