James "Jim" Fecho's Obituary
James "Jim" Fecho, age 88, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 2:30 a.m. in Coulterville Rehab and Care Center, Coulterville, IL. Jim was born on November 18, 1928 in Hurst, IL, a son to George and Nellie (Morrison) Fecho. He was a very proud veteran of the United State Air Force obtaining the rank of sergeant in World War II. On May 15, 1955, he married Patricia Dougan in Pinckneyville, IL and she survives. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pinckneyville, IL where he loved teaching his disciple class. Jim had worked as an insurance agent for TransAmerica, was a member of the Lion's Club, Pinckneyville, IL and loved Sunday afternoon walks with his family. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Patricia Fecho of Pinckneyville, IL; a daughter, Katherine Fecho of Pinckneyville, IL; a son, Robert (Claudia) Fecho of Carol Stream, IL; a brother-in-law, Alec Singer of Pinckneyville, IL; two granddaughters, Lauren Fecho and Lilly Fecho; two nieces, Lindy (Todd) Rushing of Pinckneyville, IL and Cindy (Rick) Schallert of St. Louis, MO; and three great nephews, Bobby Rushing of Nashville, TN, Ryan Rushing of Nashville, TN and Donnie Schallert of St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George Fecho, Jr; one uncle and six aunts. Burial of his cremains will be held at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery, St. Louis, MO on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of arrangements.
