James Matthew Dewar's Obituary
James Matthew "Matt" Dewar, age 21, of DuQuoin, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at 4:21 p.m. at Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin. Matt was born December 19, 1985 a son to Marvin Dewar and Lisa (Jones) Dewar. He was an artist, loved his daughter, family and friends and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Marvin and Renata Dewar of DuQuoin, his mother, Lisa Dewar of DuQuoin, one daughter, Savannah Jo Fronek and her mother, Sara of DuQuoin, one brother, Zachary Dewar of DuQuoin, his maternal grandparents, Carl and Dora Jones of DuQuoin, his paternal grandmother, Deloris Burgess of Benton, IL, his great-grandmother, Eileen Dewar of West Frankfort, IL, two step-sisters, Terra DunFee and Tanya Russell both of Herrin, IL and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James R. Dewar. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, DuQuoin on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dan McKinnies and Rev. C.L. McKinnies officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, DuQuoin. Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Du Quoin on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Savannah Jo Fronek Fund or to the family of Matt Dewar.
