Jack J. Jones' Obituary
Jesus called Jack J. Jones, age 78, of Pinckneyville, IL, home on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 7:30 a.m. Jack was born on December 1, 1931 in Rice, IL, a son to Ira and Myrtle (Hill) Jones. On September 19, 1958, he married Sarah "Faye" Owen in Concord Baptist Church, Rice, IL and she survives. Jack was a member of Concord Baptist Church, Rice, IL a farmer, and a laborer for Local #742, Mascoutah, IL. He enjoyed fox hunting and spending time with his wife and family. Jack will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Jack is survived by his wife; two sons, James Dean (Joyce) Jones and Mark Alan Jones all of Pinckneyville, IL; two brothers, Rick (Mary) Jones of Pinckneyville, IL and Bob (Becky) Jones of Belleville, IL; one granddaughter, Casey Jones of Pinckneyville, IL, a great-granddaughter, Alexus Jones-Myers and many dear relatives and friends Jack went home to be with the Lord, his parents; a son, Carl Emmit Jones; three brothers, Earl Jones, Roy Jones and Amos Jones; ten sisters, Emma Magerkurth, Pauline Willis, Anna Hubler, Ollie Thomas, Irene Mize, Mae Hubler, Evelyn Scott, Lenora Wiles, Roberta Jones and Mildred Jones. Graveside services will be held at Concord Baptist Cemetery, Rice, IL on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Kenneth Dale Owen officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to Concord Baptist Cemetery Association.
