Ivelize Mary Condé Mohr's Obituary
Ivelize Mary Condé Mohr, age 79, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 6:10 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL.
Ivelize was born on September 20, 1941 in Cachoeira de Itapermirim, Brazil, a daughter to Jose and Carly (Moraes) Condé. On April 4, 1964, she married Kenneth Charles Mohr, Sr. in Brazil and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2019. Ivelize taught elementary education in Brazil and was a homemaker and an entrepreneur. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyvillle, IL and recently re-confirmed St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL. At St. Paul United Church of Christ, she had served on the educational board and taught Sunday school and was a member of the Women's Club and choir. She was also a member of the Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce and was a 4H leader. She loved gardening, vacationing, quilting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her five children, Kenneth (Jeanne) Mohr, Jr of Columbia, IL, Douglas (Andrea) Mohr of Denver, CO, Bianca (Mike) Bottiaux of Herrin, IL, Jennifer (Rick) Yeager of Pinckneyville, IL and Jessica (Dustin) Hulting of Columbia, IL; eleven grandchildren, Olivia, Audrey, Justin, Ben, Maggie, Henry, Emaline, Kaitlyn, Lewis, Bradey and Corina; one sister, Marie Evinar Condé Bechepeche of Brazil; one brother-in-law, Jim (Dorthey) Mohr; one sister-in-law, Suzie Mohr; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Charles Mohr, Sr.; father and mother-in-law, Walter A. and Leona (Reinhardt) Mohr; and two brothers-in-law, Walter Lee Mohr and Fred Bechepeche.
Funeral services will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Augustine Ibezimako officiating. Interment will be at Galum Presbyterian Cemetery, Pinckneyvillle, IL.
Visitation will be at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m.
Due to the Covid-19 virus, social distancing will be enforced and all attendees are asked to wear a mask.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno PTO Fund.
