Irene Virginia Earl's Obituary
Irene Virginia Earl, age 85, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012 in her home. Irene was born on October 14, 1926 in Council Bluffs, IA, a daughter to Clifford and Eunice (Crowder) Collins. On June 9, 1946, she married William Earl in the First Christian Church, Council Bluffs, IA and he preceded her death on June 5, 1993. Irene was a secretary for Defense Depot in Ogden, UT for many years. She attended Grace Ministries Church, Chester, IL, was a member of Home Extension, Coulterville, IL, and sang in the church choir at First Christian Church, Ogden, UT for 30 years. Irene enjoyed tending to her yard and dearly loved spending time with her family. Irene is survived by two children, Clifford (Lorna) Earl of Ogden, UT and Faith (Raymond) Cometto of Coulterville, IL; one brother, Clinton (Donna) Collins of Council Bluffs, IA; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Collins of Council Bluffs, IA; and numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son Steven Earl; two brothers, Glen Collins and John Collins; and one sister, Alice Treece Funeral services will be held at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home, Council Bluffs, IA on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Donald Welch officiating. Interment will be in Hazel Dell Cemetery, Council Bluffs, IA. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home Council Bluffs, IA on Thursday April 19, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Grace Ministries Church, Chester IL, Gideon's Bible Program, or Organ Donor Program. Maher-Livingston Funeral Home, Council Bluffs, IA is in charge of the Iowa arrangements. Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL is in charge of the Illinois arrangements.
