Ida Gladys Dann's Obituary
Ida Dann, age 93, lifetime resident of Pinckneyville, passed away October 5, 2007 at 2:55 a.m. at Paradise Manor Assisted Living in Marion, IL. Ida was born on October 4, 1914 in Pinckneyville, a daughter to Alfred and Augusta (Gerstenschlager) Stevenson. On March 29, 1931 she married William F. Dann and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1987. Ida was a dress maker for The Garment Factory in Pinckneyville, IL. Survivors include her son: Billy (Betty) Dann of Carbondale, IL, one daughter: Delores Norton of O'Fallon, MO, seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Ida was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her sister Fern Matson. Funeral services will be held at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Rick Beam, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in the Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville. Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. till time of service.
