Hazel lived in an apartment on Main in DQ where Tekoa and I worked for 10 years nextdoor for the Schleper family. We often talked an I can still see her daily driving out in her white vehicle. Sharon Davis is Tekoa's best friend. We visited her sister Katherine Davis at Perry Manor. We enjoyed her 90th with the entire Fred Davis family. I remember all the holidays at Hazel's and especially the first time that I met her when my "big" brother took me with him to P'ville to meet a blind date, who he later married. I was, to say the least, overwhelmed by Hazel then and each and every time that we would get together. Her sense of humor and self confidence were unbelieveable. She raised two wonderful daughters through some trying times, working long hours at Luke's but I never once heard her complain.
Toni, we are so sorry to hear about your Mother. We know how close you were to her. Please know our prayers are with you and the rest of your family.
