Harold Ray Joines' Obituary
Harold Ray Joines, age 80, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 9:12 p.m. in HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital, O'Fallon, IL.
Harold was born on July 21, 1940 in Evansville, IN, a son to Norman and Mary (Heath) Joines. On April 30, 1977, he married Teresa Gill and she survives. He had worked in banking for 40 years and retired as President of Coulterville Banking Center, Coulterville, IL. Harold was a member of Winkle Baptist Church, Coulterville, IL; Masonic Lodge #162, Sparta, IL; and the Grand Cote Cruisers, Coulterville, IL. Harold was a devoted fan of University of Kentucky basketball.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Teresa Joines of Coulterville, IL; a son, Jeffrey (Denise) Joines of Sumner, IL; a daughter, Tammie (Danny) Jebron of Coulterville, IL; a son-in-law, Terry Wallbaum of Mt. Carmel, IL; a sister, Jeannette Hickerson of Beaver Dam, KY; seven grandchildren, Jessalyn, Teryn, Addasyn, Marilyn Brooke, Sara, Case, and Meadow; five great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Teresa Reneé Wallbaum; and a brother-in-law, Jim Hickerson.
Funeral services will be held at Winkle Baptist Church, Coulterville, IL on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Jeff Downard officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville Cemetery, Coulterville, IL.
Visitation will be at Winkle Baptist Church, Coulterville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday morning at the church from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Masonic service will be Monday at 7:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Ann Catholic School, Nashville, IL.
