Harold R. Frederking's Obituary
Harold R. Frederking, age 89, of Nashville, IL, formerly of Rice, IL, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2006 at 11:37 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL. Harold was born on April 8, 1917 in the Bolo Township in Washington County, IL, a son to Frederick and Anna Elizabeth (Johannes) Frederking. He married Anna Louise Hoffman May 29, 1937 and she preceded him in death on August 14, 1972. He then married Loraine Hoffman in May of 1974 and she also preceded him in death on December 9, 1993. He then married Dorothy Hutchings on February 12, 1995 in Coulterville, IL and she survives. Harold was a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church, song leader, Sunday school teacher, and Deacon for many years. He was a third degree Mason, former member of the operating engineers and laborers union, and was a very accomplished backhoe operator. Survivors include his wife: Dorothy of Nashville, IL, two sons: Harold Dean and wife Donna Frederking of Steeleville, IL, and Jack and wife Relyn of Rice, IL, one daughter: Carolyn "Sue" Bridges and husband Edward of Tamaroa, IL, three stepsons: Terry Jackson and wife Pam of Rice, IL, Dennis Hutchings and wife Peg of Nashville, IL, Tom Hutchings and wife Diane of Centralia, IL, one step daughter, Cinda Osborne and husband David of Channahon, IL, one brother: William F. Frederking of Coulterville, 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives: Anna Louise and Loraine, one granddaughter in infancy: Deana Sue Frederking, one brother, Paul R. Frederking, one great grandson and one great great grandson. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2006 at the Oakdale Baptist Church, Oakdale, IL, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Fred Pringle officiating. Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery, Rice, IL. Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville, IL Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 8:00 a.m. till 9:30 a.m. then at the Church from 10:00 a.m. till Services.
