Geraldine "Geri" Jones' Obituary
Geraldine "Geri" Jones, age 59, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 8:53 a.m. at her home.
Geri was born June 9, 1963 in Trenton, NJ, a daughter to James Louis Brown and Rose Marie Jones. She worked in the field of nursing and volunteered at the food pantry whenever she could. Geri was a member of Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL.
Survivors include her two sons, Lamar Samuel Jones and Ellington Carl Jones; a daughter, Gina Elise Jones; two brothers, Gemini Jones and Steven Jones; and one granddaughter, Brittney Jones; and a close friend, Bobby Owen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and life partner, Thomas "Tom" Owen.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
