My dad worked for John and Betty for years and years (Stanley Szostak)
My mom (Frances )would always visit betty and brought me along when I was little
I would sit on the couch with Gerald and Bonita and play and talk with
them
I know Gerald will be greatly missed by the family and all who knew him
He has a new home now sitting at the right hand feet of the Lord

Deepest condolences. I'm Larry Roemer's sister, and knew about Gerald through him. Larry and he were friends for over 30 years. Larry always had something nice to say about Gerald, how smart and talented he was, what a good friend he was. I am requesting a perpetual deceased Mass enrollment at the Carmelite Spiritual Center, the Society of the Little Flower, for Gerald. Larry said you would appreciate knowing that. I am so sorry for your loss. Gerald was my best friend and mentor and I loved him like a brother. His spirit, kindness, and generosity were a gift to everyone lucky enough to know him. We had deep conversations over the years, the kind only young -- and then older -- comrades can have. He was smart and very funny and we made each other laugh. A lot. Now he iss free and at peace.
