Our sympathy to the family. I remember George, who was a yr ahead of me as he was in the Class of '66 with my BIL, Dean. My husband, Randy was in the Class of '64 with Jane. It is wonderful to know he spent his life doing what he loved and helping so many.
So sorry for the families loss. Went to school and road bus with George.

Please accept my condolences and sympathy upon George's passing. I pray that God will comfort you and give you strength and fill your hearts and minds with memories of all the good and fun times that he shared with you. George and I are 2nd cousins. Our fathers, Robert Oliver Birchler and Paul Glynn Birchler, are 1st cousins. Our grandfathers, Joseph Birchler, Jr. and Frank Birchler, are brothers. Our shared great-grandparents are Joseph Birchler, Sr. and Mary Lena Vogel Birchler. I was born in my grandparents' farm house in rural Coulterville and our family attended the Presbyterian Church in Coulterville and my siblings and I were all Christened there. My parents moved to Bartonville, Illinois when I was in the middle of first grade. I have attached a picture of Joseph Birchler, Sr's descendants and their children that was taken in my grandfather Frank's woods in August, 1932. I tried to also include a listing of all of their names but it appears that this site will only let one item be uploaded.
