To the family: I share in your sadness and also in fond memories as you celebrate the life of the lovely "Miss Dunn," who taught me at Van Brunt School near Conant in 4th and 5th grades, 1937-39. She was a wonderful first-year teacher and an inspiration in many ways, with her soft voice and wonderful smile! Her nephew Dr. John may recall how delighted I was to find her picture with a brother and him in SIU homecoming news a few years ago. May God bless all of you, her family.
