Frieda A. Lindner's Obituary
Frieda A. Lindner, age 91, of Pinckneyville, IL, died suddenly Monday, April 10, 2006 at 2:14 p.m. in the emergency room of Pinckneyville Community Hospital. Frieda was born on September 2, 1914 in Murphysboro, IL, a daughter to John and Minnie (Henson) Anderson. She married Clarence L. "Doc" Lindner on March 28, 1936 in Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death on March 31, 1990. She had retired from Spartan Lite Metals and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, the Royal Neighbors of America and the Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include one son: Allen and Judy Lindner of Pinckneyville, one daughter-in-law: Pat Lindner of Murphysboro, one sister-in-law: Marian Svanda of Pinckneyvillle, IL, four grandchildren: Todd Lindner, Lon and Terri Lindner, Angela and Greg Jung and Marcus Lindner and Heather Davis, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons: Roy Dwayne Lindner in infancy and D. Neil Lindner, four brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be held in the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Rick Hatley officiating. Interment will be in Cottom Cemetery, Denmark, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m., on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. till 9:30 a.m., and then at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial donations may be made to Pinckneyville Community Hospital Skilled Care Unit or American Cancer Society.
