Fred E. Jones' Obituary
Fred E. Jones, age 65, of Ellis Grove, IL died at his home on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 3:48 a.m. Fred was born in Pinckneyville, IL on October 4, 1940, the son of Fred O. and Doris (Chapman) Jones. He married Joan Hasemeyer on March 4, 1988 in Cape Girardeau, MO and she survives. He attended the First Baptist Church, Ellis Grove, IL. He worked as a security aide at Chester Mental Health for 32 years, loved his family, fishing, and sports. Survivors include his wife Joan of Ellis Grove, IL, three sons: Casey Jones of Ellis Grove, IL, Jordan Jones of Ellis Grove, IL and Mark Jones and wife Lisa of Carbondale, IL, one step-son: Tyler Hunter and wife Tara of Jacob, IL, one brother: Max Lee Jones and wife Barbara of Panama, IL, 3 sisters: Joyce Bernaix and husband Michael of Percy, IL, Nancy Grote and husband Kenneth of Pinckneyville, IL, and Janet Bell and husband Don of Millstadt, IL, one sister-in-law: Elaine F. Jones of Smithton, IL, one granddaughter: Stephanie Nicole Jones, one step-grandson: Daigen Hunter, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Doug Jones, and an infant daughter: Jean Marie Jones. Funeral Services will be held at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, March 20, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Visitation will be held at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville, IL on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or First Baptist Church, Ellis Grove, IL.
