Frances Ann McKinstry's Obituary
Frances Ann McKinstry, age 70, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 in Lebanon Care Center, Lebanon, IL. Frances was born on May 31, 1942 in Perry County, IL, a daughter to Frank Pete and Minerva Ann (Robb) Ruppert. She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL, had a Master of Science degree and worked as a secretary for Scott Air Force Base, Illinois Extension office, SIU Carbondale and retired from Lutheran Children and Family Services. She also sold life insurance. Frances was a Brownie, Girl Scout and 4-H leader and liked teaching and tutoring. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, dancing and dearly loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her mother, Minerva Ruppert of Coulterville, IL; one son, Steve (Lynn) McKinstry of St. Charles, MO; one daughter, Christina McKinstry of Coulterville, IL; two grandchildren, Nick McKinstry and Zach McKinstry; six brothers and sisters, Lonnie Dale (Melinda) Ruppert of Coulterville, IL, Rebecca (Paul II) Kenner of Sarasota, FL, Daniel Dean (Belinda) Ruppert of Coulterville, IL, Frank J. (Connie) Ruppert of Coulterville, IL, Mary Susan (Bogdan) Ruppert-Stroescu of Stillwater, OK and Kathleen M. (Bryan) Sprehe of Coulterville, IL; three aunts, Shirley Ruppert of Pinckneyville, IL, Gertrude Ruppert of Rice, IL and Rose Hamilton of Godfrey, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; one nephew, Brian Dale Ruppert and uncles, Elmer Ruppert and Jim (Thelma) Robb A memorial funeral mass will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Augustine Ibezimako officiating. Friends may call at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The rosary will recited at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to SIU Rugby Team. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
