I have fond memories of Pudge and Frannie. My parents, Howard and Mary Ann Mansker, were all good friends along with Jack and Kay Bivens and Frank and Erline Cane. There were some fun family gatherings at the Cane residence with much laughter and good food. I learned so much more about Frannie from her obituary; what a great woman and mother and friend.
She was a very good person

Scott, Cindy, and Christie, I was saddened to hear of Aunt Frances passing. I always enjoyed hearing her stories at the Hawkins' reunions when I was growing up. Fran was a tireless worker towards saving our historical heritage, especiallly the old Charter Oak School house in Schuline. I admire her energy and commitment to her causes.
