Frances "Frannie" Feltmeyer's Obituary
Frances "Frannie" Feltmeyer, age 96, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 8:12 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL. Frannie was born on June 16, 1920 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Joseph Adam and Velma Faye (Jones) Gieser. On September 3, 1938, she married Lester "Les" O. Feltmeyer in Perryville, MO and he preceded her death on January 6, 1994 after 55 years of marriage. She was a member of Tri County Pentecostal Church, Cutler, IL. She had worked as a garment worker instructor at Pinckneyville Garment Factory, Pinckneyville, IL for 22 years and had managed the Pinckneyville Value Store, Pinckneyville, IL for 10 years. Frannie loved traveling and working at her church and her family was always very important to her. Survivors include her four nieces and nephews, Jim (Clara) Wright of Pinckneyville, IL, Gerald (Carolyn) Wright of Pinckneyville, IL, Jaci (Bob) Stirnaman of Ellis Grove, IL and Kim Herschbach of Chester, IL; and several generations of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Joseph "Joe" M. Gieser; two sisters, Geraldine Loos and Mae Wright; and two nephews, Gene Wright and Gary Gieser. Funeral services will be held at Tri County Pentecostal Church, Cutler, IL on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Billy Pendergrass and Reverend Charles Carr officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Tri County Pentecostal Church, Cutler, IL on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Tri County Pentecostal Church, Cutler, IL. Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of arrangements.
