Eugene Heiple's Obituary
Eugene "Steve" Heiple, age 75, of Coulterville, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 8:55 a.m. in Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, IL. Steve was born on October 18, 1932 in Coulterville, IL, a son to George and Goldie (Pritchett) Heiple. In 1965, he married Harriet Smerker-Boling in Winkle, IL and she survives. He was a coal miner at Peabody Baldwin Mine for 19 years. He was a member of U.M.W.A., and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Survivors include his wife: Harriet Heiple of Coulterville, three sons: Marion Eugene "Gene" (Linda) Boling of Monroe, MI, Marty (Margie) Boling of Ava, IL, and Chris Heiple of Coulterville, two daughters: Beth Heiple and friend Jack Graves, Sr. of Cutler, IL, and Erica Lynn Heiple of Willisville, IL, one sister: Lillian West of Belleville, IL, and five grandchildren: Stephanie Boling, Dani Boling, Ellie Boling, Heather Heimos, and Monica Heimos. He was preceded in death by his parents, and infant son: Steven Scott, three sisters, and six brothers. A graveside memorial service will be held in Coulterville Cemetery on February 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Rees officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Church Of The Nazarene, Tilden, IL.
