Emma Belle Lee's Obituary
Emma Belle Lee, age 87, of Tamaroa, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 10:33 a.m. in her home. Emma was born on March 9, 1925 in DuQuoin, IL, a daughter to Hershel and Bertie (Farthing) Huggins. On August 23, 1941, she married Norman Dean Lee and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2004. Emma was a lifetime member of Holts Prairie Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL, worked at the DuQuoin Garment Factory and Decca Records. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her grandchildren and was a dedicated faithful member of her church. Emma is survived by a son, Gerald (Linda) Lee of Tamaroa, IL; two brothers, Nelson (Shirley) Huggins and Wayne (Judy) Huggins all of Marissa, IL; three sisters, Thelma Higgerson of Peoria, IL, Violet (Paul) Bishop and Joyce (Ted) Clark all of DuQuoin, IL; five grandchildren, Timothy (Stacy) Hirsch, Barry (Michelle) Hirsch, Shannon (Denise) Hirsch, Collin (Becky) Hirsch, and Austin Lee; two step-granddaughters, Danielle (Mike) Gratton and Amy Wright; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Nancy Hirsch; and two brothers, her twin, Emery Huggins and Howard Huggins. Funeral services will be held at Holts Prairie Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Collin Hirsch officiating. Interment will be in Holts Prairie Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church, 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Holts Prairie Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL.
