Emma Louise Douglas' Obituary
Emma Louise Douglas, age 66, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 9:06 p.m. in her home. Emma was born on May 8, 1944 in Coulterville, IL, a daughter to Raymond and Mary Jane (Vuichard) Robinson. She married William Douglas in Nashville, IL and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1966. Emma was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed embroidering and dearly loved spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons, Tim (Shelby) Cox of DuQuoin, IL and Mike (Kathy) Cox of Coulterville, IL; one daughter, Kathy Douglas of Coulterville, IL; two brothers, Kenneth (Peggy) Robinson and Dave (Betty) Robinson all of Coulterville, IL; two grandchildren, William (Samantha) Douglas and Tiffany (Brandon) Scholebo; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Douglas, Braylee Scholebo and one on-the-way; and several dear nieces, nephews and dear cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, William Douglas; special friend, Howard Cox; and two brothers, James Richard Robinson and Larry Robinson. Emma's wishes were to be cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Emma Douglas Family. Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
