Mrs. Burns was my first grade school teacher 30 years ago. She was so lovely and elegant, even in her later years. When I was in her classroom I decided that I would take French and Algebra in high school. I did; and today math and foreign languages are a big part of my life. My life is richer because of her gentle spirit and inpiration. She simply let me dream. I am so incredibly thankful that our paths crossed all those years ago and again in recent years. She made a difference in the lives of many people in our town.
I knew Elizabeth and her mother Mrs Wells from First Bapist. Elisabeth was a lovely lady in many ways. You have my sympathy
