Nancy and Steve, I'm so sorry about losing your mother. I know how difficult it is. Your mom was a wonderful person. Nancy, I'm sure you remember how often we stayed at one another's houses. I always felt "at home" at your house with your mom and dad.D
I was thinking of your mother all morning yesterday while I watched the Rose Parade. My mother, Erla Engelhardt, and I often went to your home on New Year's morning to watch the parade on your color TV. I am so very sorry that I did not know of her passing until a few minutes ago. I remember how much fun your mother, my mother and Leona Dempsey had together. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I was so sorry to hear about your mother passing away. Nancy, your mother was always so nice to me when we were best friends in high school. Always loved how she made me feel so welcome when we had sleepovers. You and your family are in my prayers.
Best Wish's
I will you
My sympathy to the family, also sending thoughts and prayers on behalf of my mother, Leona Dempsey. She was very sorry to hear about Betty. She remembers the happy times they shared and their fondness for pretty hats.
I am so sorry to hear about Betty's home going but how awesome that we know she is with our Lord. I will always be grateful for her hospitality when we were in high school and she opened her home to me when my Mother was ill. May the entire family have peace during this time. Toni Smith, classmate of Nancy and Fred
Betty was such a beautiful person, always kind and friendly. She was my sunday school teacher through my younger years. She was with me when I was baptized. I received a lovely letter from her few years ago. I will always treasure it. Thinking of you with prayers and may God Bless you all. With sympathy, Donna (Green)Krug
We would like to share our love for Steve and Fran and for the passing of Steve's mom. Don and Carolyn Jackson
Steve & Fran, So sorry to hear about your mother. She was one of my Sunday School teachers whom I loved. She was a good friend to mother. She arranged to have Christmas carolers come to our house when Dad and Mom were in poor health. She attended Mom's funeral. I always thought she was a very thoughtful and caring individual.
