Edith Carns' Obituary
Edith Carns, age 83, of Coulterville, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 9:31 a.m. in her home. Edith was born on February 1, 1924 in Willisville, a daughter to Ruben and Pearl (Bradley) Henson. She married Vernon "Bud" Carns on July 1, 1950 in Pickett, AR and he survives. She was a member of Coulterville United Methodist Church, Eastern Star #411, Sparta Chapter, and had retired from Sparta Community Hospital as a nurses' aid. Survivors include her husband: Vernon "Bud" Carns of Coulterville, one son: Dale and wife Kathy Carns of Coulterville, and one granddaughter: Jamie Lynn Carns of Coulterville. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Coulterville on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Eunjoo Lee officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville Cemetery. Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and then on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, or Coulterville United Methodist Church.
